Selling access and metering customers
Charge RQ for 30 days of access to a private app, and record your own customers' usage through the meters API.
Open in the consoleTwo ways to earn from, or account for, what your apps do: paid access sells 30 days of entry to a private app for RQ that is credited to you; meters record your customers' usage so you can bill them yourself.
Paid access
- 1Make the app private (Access → Who can open it) and set a Price under Paid access, in RQ per 30 days. Empty or 0 turns it off.
- 2A visitor without access sees a Subscribe button on the sign-in page. Paying debits their RQ balance and lets them in at once, like a user on the access policy; paying again before the period ends extends it.
- 3You receive the price minus a 10% platform fee in your RQ balance, with a ledger line per subscription; the access page shows how many subscriptions are active.
- Subscribers are let in by the gate and by OAuth tokens minted with
resource=for the app, so paid MCP servers and APIs work without extra code.
