Getting started

Create an account, build a first app and find your way around the console.

RandallFlare runs your websites, APIs, background jobs and data on a fleet of edge nodes, close to the people using them. Everything is managed from one console, one command line tool (rrangler) and one API, and paid for with one balance of RQ credits.

Create an account

1Open Sign up (or the invite link you were sent) and confirm your email address.
2Sign in with the code we email you. There is no password to remember.
3You land in the console with a starting balance of RQ credits, enough to try every product.

Build a first app

The quickest way is Build with AI: describe the app in a sentence, and Studio writes the code, deploys it and checks that it answers. You get a live address straight away and can keep changing the app by chatting.

If you prefer to write code, create an app under and use the editor, connect a GitHub repository, or deploy from your computer:

Header	Meaning
`x-request-id`	A unique id for the request. Quote it when you ask for help.
`x-rf-served-by`	`rf-compute` when your code produced the response, `pages-static` for a static file, `edge-error-page` for a platform error page.
`x-rf-security-state`	The protection state of the site at that moment, such as `normal`.
`ratelimit`, `ratelimit-policy`	How much of your per-client and per-path rate limit is left.
