TCP/UDP forwarding
Forward raw TCP or UDP ports through the edge to your own server.
Open in the consoleTCP/UDP forwarding is for services that are not websites: game servers, SSH, databases, voice and custom protocols. Clients connect to a port on the edge, and the edge passes the traffic on to your server. Your server's address stays private and the edge absorbs floods.
Create a forward
- 1Under TCP/UDP forwarding, choose TCP or UDP and the public port (UDP can take a port range).
- 2Enter your server's address and port.
- 3Point clients at the hostname shown, on that port.
bash
rr cdn tcp create game --port 8081 --origin 203.0.113.8:25565
rr cdn udp create voice --ports 2500-2600 --origin 203.0.113.8:3478
rr cdn l4 listGood to know
- Traffic is passed through as is; the edge does not decrypt or inspect it, so firewall rules for websites do not apply.
