Usage and credits (RQ)
How RQ credits are charged, earned and shown, with no card and no surprise bills.
Open in the consoleEverything on RandallFlare is paid for with RQ credits. You create resources as you need them and the system charges for what they actually use, at the same rates on every plan. The current price of everything is on the pricing page.
Plans and the monthly allowance
Every account is on a plan, and each plan puts RQ into the account on the 1st of every month (UTC). The free plan tops your balance up to its allowance (600 RQ), enough for a few small apps with a KV store and file storage. It does not include AI Gateway API keys; Copilot and Build with AI work on every plan. Unused free RQ does not pile up, and RQ you earned or were given is never taken away. Paid plans with a larger monthly allowance are coming soon. Usage & credits shows your plan and the date of the next allowance.
AI usage
AI requests (AI Gateway, Copilot, Build with AI) are charged per token at each model's rate. Models with a higher thinking effort (ids ending in -medium, -high, -xhigh, -max) cost more per token. Copilot and building apps with AI are 40% off. The AI Gateway model list shows each model's current rates.
