Automations (Flow)

Automations are for glue work you would rather not write code for: call an API every hour and store the answer, post a message when something changes, chain your apps together. You build them on a canvas from steps and connections.

Build one

1. 1Open Automations and create one. Start with a trigger: run by hand, on a schedule, or when its webhook address is called.
2. 2Add steps: HTTP requests, your own apps, key-value, SQL and file storage, queues, pipelines, analytics, email, workflows and other automations, plus branches, loops and transformations.
3. 3Connect each step's output to the next step's input. Values from earlier steps can be used in later fields.
4. 4Run it. Every step's input and output is saved, so you can see what happened and replay a run.
