Connectors (MCP servers for Copilot and Studio)
Give the console assistants the tools of any MCP server you can reach: issue trackers, code hosts, your own servers.
Open in the consoleA connector is a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) together with the credentials to call it. Once added, its tools appear to Copilot and Studio as mcp__<connector>__<tool>, so the assistant can read your issues, open pull requests or query any service that speaks the Model Context Protocol while it works on your account.
Add one
- 1Open Connectors and press New Connector. Give it a short name (it becomes part of every tool name) and the server's MCP endpoint, for example
https://mcp.example.com/mcp. - 2Add the bearer token or headers the server wants. They are encrypted at rest and only ever sent to that server.
- 3The tool list is fetched right away and refreshed every hour, or when you press . Pause a connector to hide its tools without losing it.
